The Mason Youth Sports Day will be held Sunday, August 10 from 11am-3pm at Burchfield Park, Holt, MI. The Mason Optimist Club, whose motto is “Friend of Youth,” is holding its summer youth sports day auction fundraiser. Each year the Mason Optimist Club uses its summer auction as one of its fundraising events. All funds raised in the auction will be used to award scholarships to deserving 2026 Mason High School and Wilson Talent Center graduates. The Mason Optimist Club anticipates awarding over $15,000 to graduating seniors in May of 2026. Camping at the North End of the Fairgrounds during Fair Week has faced challenges due to increased demand and limited electrical capacity.
